MobilePixels is a mobile display manufacturer who came to us looking for a fresh ad campaign to help show off their flagship products for the fast approaching holiday season.

The way we understand it, MobilePixels is a display and mounting system that allows for a monitor to be mounted or supported in pretty much every way imaginable. Our goal was to connect as many of the dots for the viewer as possible, showing them the many lifestyles and applications the product has an impact on.

From the time we got the green-light we had right at 2 weeks to round out a finished concept, scout locations, cast talent, come up with a schedule that worked around talent and location limitations, aaand shoot! We would shoot over two days the following week and then basically have two days to edit the piece before turning it in! All of that in the middle of Covid and keeping a small team of only 3 guys working the project! I don’t know what y’all are used to, but for us… that was a rush.

Covid made for plenty of complications in and of itself, but for one, finding locations that were comfortable with us filming in them was next to impossible. So much so that, to make the student/teacher library scene work, we ended up just making an airbnb bedroom work! “Makin’ it happen”.

We shot over 2 days, across 11 locations, with 16 separate scenes/setups. We had a ton of fun doing it and are super happy with how it turned out in the end. Here’s to a vaccine and having help on the next one!
