Remedy continued their long-term partnership with Mobile Pixels to create a crowdfunding video launching their next generation monitor product. The launch was a huge success with it being fully funded in 36 minutes!

Long term client relationships are great, not just because we get to see the evolution of brands but also because there is a level of trust that allows us to push the creative envelope. We’ve had a long relationship with Mobile Pixels, creating a number of videos for them as they’ve continued to innovate, so when they came to us about developing a video for Geminos, a product that represents a dramatic evolution in their product line, we wanted to make something that felt fresh and stood out from anything we’d made together previously.

The trust we’ve built with their team was essential to making that possible, in part because we’d be trying to do a lot with a little. We try not to think of creativity as a line item though, and we were determined to make something great. That meant spending significant time in creative development thinking through ways to do as much as we could with what they had budgeted for the project. It meant many brainstorming sessions with the Mobile Pixels team, too many scrapped decks, and more than a few 1AM epiphanies.

Through that process we ultimately settled on a spokesperson style, comedic spot. We loved the idea of leaning into character tropes to help us highlight the use cases for the Geminos product. We were fortunate to work with a great set design team who helped us bring the world of each character to life and a cast who leaned right into the funniest version of their characters. The best part might have been getting the founders on set as spokespeople and seeing how willing they were to jump into the concept with both feet.

At the end of the day, we love making videos, we want each one to be better than the last, and we’re willing to do a lot to make that happen. Whether that means numerous script rewrites or long set prep days, whatever a client comes to us with budget-wise, we want to make that work as hard for them as we can.
