Let’s Talk Production Alternatives

Going out around town and shooting live-action footage isn’t always possible. But video is still the most powerful tool for getting a clear and concise message out to your clients and team members.

We’ve put together a quick guide that outlines a few different ideas for producing videos during on of those times. Take a look and if anything peaks your interest, reach out!

1. Studio Space

Sometimes you just need to deliver important information in a simple, visually clean, professional looking way. This could be information about a product or service to your customers or it could be information that would have once been done through in-person meetings. Think announcement videos, training videos, product demonstrations, etc. Remedy’s in-house studio is a great supplement and tool for your organization to continue getting important information out to the people that need to hear it. We’ll make sure everything looks good, run the cameras, and oversee the post-production process to make sure you have what you need fast.

***Over the past few weeks, we’ve been getting this request the most! To keep us all safe, we keep the number of crew in our building to under 3, have protective masks and gloves for everyone, and have the space cleaned and sanitized before and after each shoot.

  • Our studio can be rented out for $1,750/half days, or $3,000 for full days. This fee would include the space itself, all camera, lighting, and grip equipment needed to to make your videos look great, and a camera operator to run the camera.

  • Following production, we can deliver footage to you on a hard drive or handle the actual editing of the content. Our editing rates are typically $750/day. We can provide a better estimate of number of days needed after hearing about your project.

2. Stock Footage

Although there are a number of restrictions currently in place that are keeping us from going out and filming new original content, there is an opportunity to still produce video projects using libraries of stock footage and/or pre-existing footage your team has already produced in the past.

3. Stop Motion

The great thing about this format is is that it can be created anywhere. In fact, we have an in-house studio were we can make it happen. Send us your product, or if you don’t have a physical product, we’ll use everyday items to create our own world.

5. Online Interviews + Visuals

Client testimonials and interviews are a powerful tool that many of our clients rely on throughout the year. But given the current state of things, conducting in-person interviews is either not possible or extremely difficult. One idea we’ve been using with our clients lately is an “interview explainer”. We’ll rely on the internet to record interviews with stakeholders and then use motion design and/or stock footage to layer on top.

  • These can be done using a very“quick-and-dirty” approach, or produced using a higher level of production as well. Regardless of your situation, we’re confident we can come up with an approach that fits your budget and also aligns with how you intend to use these as a resource. We can produce simpler versions of these for as little as $2,500 and then go up from there based on how polished you want them to be.
